This past weekend I went to Vegas with some family. It was a completely different experience than going with a group girlfriends. I went a couple shows and had some amazing meals. I've compiled a few of the highlights:
The Buffet at The Wynn
The Buffet at The Wynn just might be the best breakfast in Las Vegas. Not only is it visually stunning (see above) but it has every type of food you could ever want. There is everything from a build-your-own omelette station to sushi and stir-fried vegetables. Of course, my personal favorite was the insane dessert bar. Their collection of desserts is quite impressive, it's like walking into Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
My favorite desserts at The Buffet at The Wynn. The cream puff was the best of my life, hands down.
Topshop at Fashion Show Mall
There is nothing like a shopping to burn off breakfast. Fashion Show mall has my favorite store of all time, Topshop. This is the only Topshop on the west coast and only the third in the United States! I was so excited to finally be able to shop in-store instead of online. The only problem is, the store is so packed full of merchandise I was overwhelmed.
Cirque Du Soleil's Love at The Mirage
I saw my first Cirque Du Soleil show, Love. As a huge Beatles fan, I had high expectations. I was not disappointed. The show featured dance and trapeze to all the greatest Beatles songs. The set design and costumes were flawless. This is a must-see!!
The Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian

We had dinner at Emeril Laggasse's Delmonico Steakhouse. I don't eat steak, but my grandma and aunt were very impressed with their steak. I had the Alaskan Halibut and it was excellent. Their dinner rolls were great, as well. My only regret is we didn't have dessert, I read on Yelp their banana cream pie is one the best dishes.
The Roof-top pool at The Cosmopolitan
I finished the night at what Las Vegas locals call the best hotel in town, The Cosmopolitan. It was the 9 year anniversary party of Vegas magazine, and Kelly Rowland was there to perform (she is on the cover of the new issue.) Despite the wind, it was a great party and seeing the pool made me wish I had come here during the day. It has two large waterfall contraptions, "floating cabanas," and lots of palm trees.
Hope you enjoyed my mini-tour of Las Vegas!
