My DREAM House: Holly Golightly's!

 Photos by Corcoran
When I was a little girl, I dreamed of being Holly Golightly when I grew up. Sure, I was too young to understand that Holly actually lived a very sad life. But her clothes and her apartment in NYC were to die for! I can't even tell you how long I looked for that damn Tiffany Sterling Silver telephone dial from the movie.
Well, the original Breakfast at Tiffany's apartment is on the market! It barely looks recognizable, but it's incredible! Can you imagine having a real conservatory in New York City? This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Now, if only I had $5.8 million....

Weekend in Santa Barbara

Photo: www.stellamare.com

This past weekend I enjoyed a fantastic vacation Santa Barbara. It began with wine tasting in Los Olivos, which is the cutest little town. It's basically all wineries and adorable little shops and gardens. The  tasting rooms were really nice, some even paired their wines with mini-cupcakes. Many of the wineries featured stunning gardens complete with water fountains and fire pits.
After leaving Los Olivios, it was off to Santa Barbara for a truly delicious dinner at a French restaurant called Stella Mare's. I cannot say enough good things about this place! The food was to-die-for (I had the scallops with lobster sauce) and the atrium seating area is very unique.
I loved seeing all the Christmas lights on State street. Some of those cafes go all out, like Joe's Cafe (picture 3 from the top) where we had a great breakfast.
I can't wait to go back!

Holiday Party Must-Haves

The holidays are my favorite time of year. From Halloween through New Year's I'm a happy camper.
Usually there are quite a few social gatherings this time of year, and us girls always want to look our best. Here are my holiday party must-haves from the top: I just bought this Juicy Couture black wool coat. It's the perfect (and warm) overcoat to wear over a little dress or even jeans. Juicy Couture Darling Wool Coat available here: http://bit.ly/s3Xk7Q.
Chanel's Vamp nail color is my go to for winter time. Photo by itstheshoez.tumblr.com. Available at Nordstrom.
The perfect holiday lip color is also by Chanel and it's called Spark. It's not too red and very shimmery, which I think looks great with my (very pale) skin tone. Photo by Chanel.com. Available at Nordstrom.
Lastly, we have pink Veuve Cliquot champagne. This makes a great hostess gift! You may want to keep it for yourself, though. Available here in Seattle at Wine World.
