Great Travel Style
This might be the perfect outfit to travel in. It looks comfortable yet chic and the layers are perfect for easily adjusting. Of course a Chanel purse makes almost any outfit naturally chic.
Dry, Winter Skin 101
Since most women struggle with dry skin in Winter, I'll be sharing some of my favorite products for dry skin. I'm kind of a beauty product junkie, so I'll be posting the best of the best in my experience.
First off, we have Aquaphor which my dermatologist recommended to me when I was experiencing dry skin problems. Aquaphor can be applied anywhere; lips, face, elbows, legs, and so on. The texture is that of Vaseline but more moisturizing. It's amazing! Aquaphor is available at most grocery stores and drug stores.

Spring 2011 Couture: Elie Saab
Perfection! I am in love with this collection. I think these dresses are Oscar worthy. I would love to see Natalie Portman in the black one at the Oscars. However, she better wear a custom designed Rodarte especially since they weren't even recognized for their incredible designs in Black Swan. That's a whole different subject. Regardless, I love Elie Saab, the pieces are always soft and romantic and have beading to die for.

Style Stalker: Diane Kruger
The best dressed woman in the world has redeemed herself. Here is Diane Kruger looking flawless once again, at the Vogue for Gucci dinner.

Spring 2011 Couture: Givenchy
There is no fashion show as thrilling as a Couture show. These dresses are incredible. They remind me of alien royalty. They are so unique and you can just see the hours that went into making them. I woukld love to see a celebrity brave enough to wear one of these (with exception of Lady Gagag.)

Spring 2011 Couture: Chanel
I had a hard time even finding 3 looks that I kind of liked in this collection. Not the Chanel I know and love. It was drab and everything was so boxy, it just looked tired. I'm shocked because usually couture is so exciting and dramatic. I mean we are talking about a designer who once flew glaciers in for one his shows. Even the front row was disappointing, Vanessa Paradis and Diane Kruger are two of the best dressed women in the world and they weren't dressed to the nines as usual.

3 Items for a Dream Family Room
When I move into a new place, I'm going to have to get these three items! They could really make a room. From top: Birdcage Hanging Lamp (Urban Outfitters), Antoniette Fainting Sofa (Urban Outfitters), White Shag Rug (rugartistry.com.au).
Channeling Marianne Faithfull
I think this would be a great outfit. Something Marianne would wear when she was dating Mick Jagger. Dress: by Topshop, Shoes: by Jessica Simpson, Photo: relaismadeleine.wordpress.com

Speaking of France...
With France on my mind to today, I had to do a post with France's most beautiful export, Brigitte Bardot.

The First Lady Wears McQueen
I don't know of any other first lady who would dare wear Alexander McQueen. The first lady proves she knows fashion in this amazing red gown.

Beatiful Places: St. Malo, France
St. Malo is one of the most beautiful and interesting places I have ever been. It's a little walled in city on the coast of France. A wall runs all around the city, and there are all these little cobblestone alleys, and amazing boulangeries. The beach is incredible (and freezing) and there is a castle (or national fort) that appears to be washed out to sea just a few feet off the beach. I can see from the pictures that at low tide the castle is more accessible. When I was there, my best friend and I went out to the beach at night to put our feet in the freezing water and stared at this amazing castle out at sea. It was a surreal moment.
